Reason(s)

This issue occurs if the current Word Template in use was saved without selecting the following option:

    2. Select the Blank Document radio button.
    3. Enter a name in the New Template Name field.
    4. Click Create.
  2. Select the new Word Template and click on ‘Modify’
  3. Copy the modifications already present within the current Word Template.
  4. Click Save as… once complete
  5. Select Browse
  6. Ensure that the ‘Maintain compatibility with previous versions of Word’ option is selected
  7. Assign the new Word Document to your default template
