The document does not exist. Please Generate the file. Warning message appears when using the Collections Management Transaction Inquiry window.

Problem

An error stating, “The document does not exist. Please Generate the file.” appears when clicking a document in the Collections Management Transaction Inquiry window.

 

Solution

The A boxes are only used to reprint documents using the landscape button as seen in the following screenshot.  This functionality can only be used when an Invoice Folder is setup with preprinted documents saved to the invoice folder location (Sales > Setup > Collection Setup).  The black dots on either side of a record show which record is selected.  The check box does not need to be checked to select a record.
