Install stored procedure grayed out from the Registration window and unable to save the Registration Key and expiration date

Symptoms


During an upgrade of Collections Management, after clicking on Create/ Upgrade Tables And "Get Registration Info' or manually entering the Collections Management registration key and expiration date, the following occurs: The Install Stored Procedure Button remains Grayed Out and/or The Registration Key and Expiration Date are not saved as expected

Reason(s)


A SQL Maintenance is needed on the Collections Registration Table.

Resolution

To address this issue, please proceed as follow:


Step 1

Log in GP as ‘sa’ and go to Microsoft Dynamics GP > Maintenance —> SQL

Step 2

Choose Database “Dynamics”, and Product “Collections Management”

Step 3

Under Name, Select/Highlight Collections Registration and check all boxes on the right ( Recompile, update statistics, drop Table, Create Table, Drop Auto Procedure, Create Auto Procedure)

Step 4

Click Process and click yes if you see the following pop up “You have selected to drop tables; this will delete any data in them. Are you sure you want to continue”

Step 5

Go to Sales > Utilities > Collection Installation and Registration > Select All company databases to upgrade > Click on “Create/ Upgrade Tables” > Enter your Registration Key and Expiration Date or click on “Get Registration Info” > After entering the registration key and expiration date and hit the Tab key on your key board you will see a message “Valid” > Click on Install Stored Procedures > Click Ok

Step 6

Once you click on Create/Update Smartlists > Click OK in the Collections Management Installation and Registration Window.
